Our results here are admittedly a little different from what we expected.
Although I love apt as much as the next guy (moo), I never considered it a
configuration management tool. Whether it was meant as a non-answer (I
don't need no stinking configuration management!) or a desire to include
configuration into deployable packages, apt was an unexpected winner. It
also was cool to see Subversion, as I have heard of people using it for
managing configuration revisions, and it's neat to see evidence of that
reflected here.
