Linux Journal Announces "Famous First Line" Contest

by Rebecca Cassity

In the Famous First Line Contest, contestants must identify which science-fiction book begins with the line "There was a wall." The first 100 respondents with the correct answer will win a free T-shirt.

"When our readers aren't reading Linux Journal, you'll often find them behind a great sci-fi novel," commented Carlie Fairchild, VP of Marketing & Sales. "That's why we're sure we'll get a huge response from this contest."

All entries should be sent via e-mail to contest@linuxjournal.com with "Linux Journal Famous First Line Contest" as the subject. The contest entry deadline is February 28, 2003. For more information about the contest send an e-mail to contest@linuxjournal.com.
