FSF’s LibrePlanet 2021 Free Software Conference Is Next Weekend, Online Only

On Saturday and Sunday, March 20th and 21st, 2021, free software supporters from all over the world will log in to share knowledge and experiences, and to socialize with others within the free software community. This year’s theme is “Empowering Users,” and keynotes will be Julia Reda, Nathan Freitas, and Nadya Peek. Free Software Foundation (FSF) associate members and students attend gratis at the Supporter level. Linux Audio Conference 2011: A Report From Maynooth

On May 7 and 8 I attended the Linux Audio Conference for 2011 held in Maynooth, Ireland. Due to a temporary mental malfeasance - for some reason I assumed the Earth rotated in the opposite direction - I booked my flight for the wrong departure date and was unable to change its itinerary without paying out a hefty sum to the airline.

DrupalCon Rocked Chicago

DrupalCon has sadly come to a close.  After three whirlwind days, I can say that the Drupal community is definitely going strong, and a few Drupal companies have some very interesting developments on the horizon.

 As you may have heard, Drupal's biggest annual event starts next week.  This year's North American DrupalCon will draw an expected crowd over over 3000 attendees, and offer something for a wide variety of Drupalers and future Drupalers, as well as web developers and designers in general.
